Town and MCA - Late evening after the ball

Roy was actually surprised when Aly and he left the winter themed ball only to find snow slowly falling down from the dark sky. It seemed to be instantly melting on the ground, but it was still chilly and he grinned at Aly.

"Think we jinxed the weather?" he asked, buttoning up his trench coat.

"Snow," he pointed. "It melts."

He let the door fall shut behind them as he moved into her. "Someone stole my coat."

Aly raised an eyebrow as she slipped her arm around his waist, pulling him up the stairs. "You mean someone offered it to me."

"Mmmmmmm," he looked thoughtful for a moment. "That may have been how it went," he agreed as he slid his arm around her shoulders.

She chuckled, more than happy to stay close to him. "Don't be changing the events of the evening for your own purposes," Aly teased. "That's my job."

He laughed softly, slowly brushing his hand down her shoulder and side. "You should make a list of what's your job so I don't step on your terrain."

"You should just know," Aly murmured, moving into the touch. "If you've been paying attention at least."

"I pay a lot of attention," he protested instantly, his arm wrapping around her waist so his hand came to rest on her belly.

She turned to look up at him, an amused smile on her face as her hand traced over his. "Then why do I need to make a list?"

"So I can be certain?" he tried, smiling down at her.

"Where's the fun in that?" she murmured.

"Mmmmmmm, true," he grinned and pressed a kiss to her temple as they made it to the fourth floor. "You like to keep me guessing."

"Really I like to keep everyone guessing," Aly teased, her hand stroking up under his sash. "You just respond so well to it."

"I like to think I always respond well," he replied, images of her taking the sash off flooding his mind for an instant and he bent his head to press a kiss to the side of her neck, his nose less cold now.

"Like to think and doing it aren't the same thing," Aly pointed out, tilting her head to encourage the kiss. "You feel good," she murmured.

"You just said that I do," he pointed out quietly, his other arm sliding around her as well as he moved close behind her. The cold was still clinging to their clothes and skin and he pressed his lips against it, taking in that subtle scent of shampoo as he slowly inhaled.

"Maybe you're distracting me," Aly whispered, tilting her head back to lean back against him. Her hands slid over his, wanting to keep him there and close. "You could come in? Before you distract me more in the hallway."

He smiled and nuzzled the nape of her neck, the idea of not finishing their evening yet a very appealing one. "Sounds good, I'd hate for someone to see you distracted," he teased.

She sighed with pleasure and moved back into him again, wanting to feel him. "It would destroy my reputation," she agreed, tilting her head forward.

"We can't have that," he whispered, smirking a little at her reaction and it would be easy to see how long he could distract her like this but doing it inside seemed like a good idea. "Open the door," he murmured against her ear.

"Dale's still at the party," Aly pointed out softly even as she moved towards her door. "And Nathan went home with Kerrigan. So maybe we won't be in such trouble."

He laughed and really, she needed to stop challenging him before he followed her, his hands keeping her close against him as he started kissing down the back of her neck.

Aly chuckled at the response and arched her back into him again, her hands reaching up to stroke through his hair. "Trying to prove me wrong?"

"Me?" he asked innocently, shifting to kiss her ear and he slowly traced it with his tongue as he slipped a hand under the coat.

Her breath caught and Aly made a small noise in the back of her throat, torn between responding to the gloved warmth of his hand over the silk of her dress and tilting her head to give him more access to her ear and the side of her neck.

Pleased with her reaction, Roy slowly caressed her stomach as he made her take another step forward towards the door. There was a smug smirk curving his lips as he let lips and tongue tease over her ear and then he was softly sucking at the soft skin below, taking his mission to distract seriously.
