Wednesday - Central, Amestris
Nov. 28th, 2007 04:24 pmThe fact that it had been an office who had picked them up from the train station did nothing to ease his mind, but Roy managed to refrain from interrogating the poor man as they were giving a ride to the Grumman estate.
While it wasn't exactly warm in Central, there wasn't any snow and the sky was open, a winter sun showing the city from its best side and Roy kept sane by pointing out sights to Aly. Marginally sane as he hadn't gotten much sleep on the train and he really should have brought a chess game with him. Still, he was grateful for the company.
The car drove them right up to the door of the estate and a few minutes later they were shepherded inside by one of the staff. Roy managed to convince the woman that he didn't need to see the waiting room and after some persuading, Roy led Aly up the stairs to find Hawkeye.
