Remote part of the beach - Early morning

It was still early morning, a few hours after the night patrol had finished and a few before the morning one would start. There were a couple of gaps during the day where no other patrols were going out and when he could, Roy tried to fill those up. That it brought him past the beach as well was just another perk.

Hands in his pockets, he walked a few feet from the shoreline but as he was on patrol the water was to his left side and he could only hear the waves.
