The docks - Evening (NFB)

Alchemy was for the people. It was something Roy had believed in since he was a little boy, but when he became a state alchemist he learned that alchemy could be used against them as well. It was good to be reminded of the good one could accomplish using the science and when he headed down towards the docks after his day shift, he was there to try to do some good for one person.

The Elysia was still lying out of the water and he brushed a gloved hand over her hull as he inspected her for a long moment. Finally satisfied, he placed a small can of black paint inside and kneeled down beside her and drew a chalk circle down on the ground.

When he touched the circle, it lit up in a blue light that encompassed the boat and when the light died down again, the Elysia was back in one piece, looking like she'd never had been on the water before.
