Copper Isles - Afternoon
Jul. 26th, 2009 07:48 pmIt was mandatory on any trip to the isles that they would at least go out sailing. Not that either of them had ever said it was a rule, but it seemed a given. After giving Aly the morning to get whatever work she needed done cleared, they'd gone to the docks and had taken off in Aly's boat. Now the wind was in their sails and behind them, Rajmuat's roofs were shimmering in the sun and here and there Roy could make out the kudarung sweeping playfully in the air, chasing after each other.
A few tall-ships were moving in and out of the harbour, but they were well away of their small sail boat. Enough for them to relax and take in the view before they set off further down the coast. It was in moments like these, that Roy could not be anything but aware of how different Aly's world was from his. It meants something, but he didn't want to think of it as the sun was warm and the wind coming over the water kept the temperature from becoming too high. The only danger now was a sunburn, which seemed very realistic.
