MCA#7 - Noon
May. 6th, 2008 07:51 pmRoy usually didn't eat home, but coincidence and fate were fickle things. It was possible that it was neither of those, after all the reason he decided not to eat at the station or one of the restaurants had very much to do with the letter he pulled from his mailbox on his way up.
The letter in itself didn't stand out, except for that fact that Roy rarely got personal mail which didn't come from Amestris. That didn't change that he only noticed it until he dumped the pile of letters on the dining table.
He didn't wonder, didn't stand still. He just opened the letter and ( read... )
Everything went quiet, so quiet that even breathing seemed to be too loud. Roy didn't move, didn't do anything at all. Later he would get angry. Later he would remember how very familiar this feeling was, but in this one moment there was only silence as he felt nothing but emptiness.
((Establishy, but open. Letter written by the very mean
