Mauvaise Chance - Apartment #7 - Evening
May. 12th, 2007 02:41 amRoy wasn't sure exactly why he'd postponed moving into the apartment until today, but it didn't really seem to matter. He'd be grateful to get away from the troopers at least for a couple of hours a day. He entered the apartment and dropped his duffel bag to the floor. It was more spacious than his old officer quarters in Eastern had been or the cabin near the Dragma border.
He did a quick sweep of the rooms, and satisfied with what he found he grabbed his bag from the floor and moved into the bedroom to unpack. Two regular uniforms, one dress uniform and one civilian outfit. Maybe he should call Central somewhere next week and ask for some of his clothes that were put in storage to get sent over. The outfits most of the people around the island wore didn't really speak to him and he'd be much more comfortable in his own clothes.
One everything was unpacked and neatly tucked away, Roy picked up the last remaining items that he needed to find a spot for. There was a bookcase in the living room, but his alchemy books that he left in storage would probably never fill it. Instead he placed two picture frames on eye level; one of staff and one of him and Hughes before he want to set up his chess board on the coffee table.
((Why am I still awake again? *blames it on the screencaps that kept distracting her* Establishey only as I'm about to crash.))
