Town and MCA - Late evening after the ball

Roy was actually surprised when Aly and he left the winter themed ball only to find snow slowly falling down from the dark sky. It seemed to be instantly melting on the ground, but it was still chilly and he grinned at Aly.

"Think we jinxed the weather?" he asked, buttoning up his trench coat.

"Yes," he said quietly, dropping the pins hopefully on the coffeetable but his aim could have been off. His other hand slid into her hair as well now, fingers sliding through hair that he been held up for hours, massaging over her scalp and he didn't take his eyes off her, enjoying watching her too much.

"Thank you," Aly said softly, meeting his eyes. She smiled up at him and reached to touch his cheek. "It's the blonde, isn't it."

He laughed and leaned in, kissing the spot between her eyebrows before slowly nuzzling her nose. "It does suit you," he agreed, his thumbs brushing behind her ears.

Aly grinned up at him. "Eskimo kiss? Also, my friend, you just disregarded my fifth knife."

Roy blinked, fingers sliding through her hair as if to double check. "I did?" he asked.

"You did," she laughed, tilting her head into the touches.

"Hmmmm," he shifted his weight to his other foot so he could look over her shoulder at the hairpins. "Seriously?"

Aly grinned. "Sneaky."

"Huh," he said, now paying closer attention to the stick thingie. "Very."

"Now you're sworn to secrecy," Aly told him seriously, eyes flashing with amusement.

Roy grinned. "I feel honoured," he teased, turning his attention back to her intending to pick up where he left. Which was either playing with her hair or kissing. He decided on both as he leaned in, his fingers still stroking through her hair.

"As you should," she said, leaning up to kiss him back.

He grinned. "I try to," he whispered, one hand staying in her hair as the other brushed down her neck to her back.

Aly's fingers caught on his buttons then tugged him towards her again. "You don't do a bad job with that."

"I never do a bad job," he smirked, letting her pulled him closer.

"Should I get other opinions on that?" she teased, brushing his lips with hers.

"You calling Vanessa?" he asked teasingly, brushing his lips back over hers, keeping it light and maybe they did need to sit down.

"I certainly might," Aly said. "Then I'll ask Hawkeye for some other phone numbers."

He paused and pulled back a little to see how serious she was. "Nah huh. They'll all say the same."

"I'm still more than willing to prove it," he smirked, his hand sliding down her back until he reached the edge of her dress and he slowly rubbed his fingers along it.

"Through introductions?" Aly asked.

"Words are only worth so much," he pointed out, pressing a kiss to her jaw.

"Yes, but I'm very good at getting the truth out of them," she told him, tilting her head to give him more space.

"Could just show you," he whispered, lips and tongue playing along her jaw and back to her ear. He liked teasing her ear, liked the way she responded to it.
